Reliance Retail Q3: Net profit up 32% to Rs 3,165 crore, revenue at record high

Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, the retail arm of Reliance Industries, reported a 32 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 3,165 crore in the quarter ended December due to record quarterly revenue, compared to a year earlier.

Gross revenue, driven by grocery, fashion & lifestyle and consumer electronics businesses, rose 23 per cent to Rs 83,063 crore from a year ago.

“The retail segment has also delivered an impressive financial performance with its rapidly growing physical and digital footprint. Reliance Retail is focused on enriching the customer shopping experience by adding new brands and offerings to its portfolio,” Chairman Mukesh Ambani said in a statement on January 19.
