King Charles’ emotional moment with little girl leaves fans in tears

By | Published | No Comments

King Charles III, who returned to frontline royal duties on Tuesday, brought royal fans to tears with his sweet gesture towards an adorable flower girl outside University College Hospital (UCH) in London.

When the King and Queen Camilla arrived at UCH, they were greeted by two children outside the building.

A little girl presented the king with a bouquet of flowers, and the 75-year-old king responded in kind and he also gave her a gift bag with the royal insignia printed on the side.

The adorable interaction brought royal viewers to tears, with one writing on social media: “This is so beautiful!! I have a little dust in my eye.”

Some others praised the king’s gesture with tearful eyes. One commented: “Aww, so cute!!”

“What a treasure..” wrote another.

One fan responded, writing, “This is a very thoughtful move by Charles and also thoughtful of the sweet little girl giving him flowers.”

The emotional moment was captured as the king made a welcome return to royal duties for the first time since announcing his cancer diagnosis in February.

To a question about his treatment, King replied: “I’m fine. Thank you” and he seemed extremely happy to be interacting with people again.

Charles, who is still receiving treatment for his cancer, is hoping he will make a full recovery to take part in several big events over the summer as his doctors are optimistic about his prognosis.
