The Redmi Pad Pro powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC was launched in China earlier this month. Now the Android tablet is reportedly making its way to markets outside of China. Xiaomi is yet to confirm this development, but ahead of it, the Indian and global variants of the Redmi Pad Pro have reportedly appeared on Google Play Console with model number V2303 and official images.

According to the screenshots shared by the publication, the Indian version of the tablet has model number 24074RPD2I. The model number confirms that the tablet will have 5G connectivity. Model number 2405CRPFDL corresponds to the Latin American model, while 2405CRPFDG is said to be related to versions for other global markets. The Latin American and Global versions only have Wi-Fi connectivity.

The listing reveals that all international models come with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and 8GB RAM. The Chinese version of the Redmi Pad Pro offers 6GB RAM.

Xiaomi has not revealed its plans for the global release of the Redmi Pad Pro. However, the tablet’s appearance on the Google Play Console website and its recent FCC listing suggest that the tablet is imminent.

The Redmi Pad Pro 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,300). It features a 12.1-inch 2.5K (1,600×2,560 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Pad Pro features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an 8-megapixel sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens on the front. It is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery and supports 33W wired fast charging. It comes with four stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.
