Redmi Pad SE was initially launched in August 2023 in select European markets. Now the tablet is all set to make its debut in India. Xiaomi recently announced that it will hold a “Smart Life 2024” event in India on April 23. In the announcement, the company previewed the launch of four new products. One of them is speculated to be a tablet and an official teaser has now confirmed the upcoming launch of the Redmi Pad SE in the country. It also reveals the design, colorways, and key features of the Indian variant of the model.

The details revealed suggest that the Indian version of the Redmi Pad SE is likely to be similar to its global counterpart.
The Redmi Pad SE is expected to launch in India in three color options: green, gray, and lavender. These shades are also available globally. The design of the Indian version of the tablet also remains unchanged from its European counterpart. It is confirmed to be equipped with an 11-inch Full HD+ (1,900 x 1,200 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
The Indian version of the Redmi Pad SE has been confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, which is said to offer up to 14 hours of video playback time or up to 219 hours of music playback time. It is said that its standby life can reach 43 days. The tablet is also teased to support multitasking, with split-screen and floating window capabilities.
Pricing details of the Redmi Pad SE India variant are yet to be revealed. For reference, the tablet starts at €199 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 4GB + 128GB variant in select European markets, while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models are priced at €229 (roughly Rs. 20,800) and €2,000 . 249 (approximately Rs. 22,600).
