Prince William has made a poignant statement as he returns to royal duties as Kate Middleton continues to undergo cancer treatment.
The Prince of Wales is celebrating Earth Day with his business, the Earth Shot Awards, highlighting the importance of the fight against plastic.
“Today is #EarthDay and we are all talking about the fight for #EndPlastics,” a message on the Earth Shooting Awards’ official social media read.
“The impact of plastic on our health and the environment is huge, but some of the Earthshot heroes here give us reason to be hopeful.”
William’s statement comes amid praise for his return to royal duties amid “difficult circumstances” as his father, King Charles, and his wife suffer from cancer.
