Peter Phillips says Kate is ‘brilliant’ and makes a ‘fantastic team’ with William

Prince Harry is awaiting an “apology” from Prince William after “years of tension”, a royal writer has said.

Tom Quinn said the Duke of Sussex is keen to reunite with his family but wants William and Kate to “apologize” as part of the reconciliation process.

The Princess of Wales went public with her cancer diagnosis in an emotional video statement on Friday, but neither Harry nor Meghan were informed in advance of the extent of the painful rift between the once-inseparable brothers.

The Sussexes reportedly contacted their brother and sister-in-law after learning the news, but received a “cold response.”

According to Quinn, there was nothing in the communication between the estranged siblings to suggest that they “should reconcile and let bygones be bygones.”

He added that it was “hardly the enthusiastic, informal response one might have expected”.

Despite the rift, they are likely to reunite when Harry returns to the UK for the Invincible Games celebrations in May. Mirror Report.

Meanwhile, King Charles will resume official duties on Easter Sunday. The Queen, who is undergoing cancer treatment, will attend an Easter service at Windsor Castle Chapel with Camilla on Sunday.

The appearance will be the 75-year-old Charles’ first major event since his cancer diagnosis.

The British royal family learned that if you don’t fill the information vacuum, someone else will

On February 27, the hashtag #WhereIsKate exploded online, sparking a media frenzy of speculation about the whereabouts of Britain’s Princess of Wales. It opened a rabbit hole of amateur detective work, memes, bizarre theories and jokes – mixed with genuine concerns about Kate’s health – until she announced last week that she had recovered from cancer and thousands of people turned out into it.

The incident taught the royals, and everyone else, a lesson about the modern world of online media: If your silence leaves an information vacuum, others will rush to fill it. The results can be messy.

“The royal family’s motto is never complain, never explain,” said Ellie Hall, a journalist who specializes in covering British kings and their courts. “That really doesn’t work in the digital age. It doesn’t take much to make crazy things happen.”
