The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to have extended an olive branch to Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are working on another book, according to royal expert and author Tom Quinn Mirror.
The author revealed that Harry and Meghan will approach their second book with caution, especially after Kate was diagnosed with cancer.
“I heard the couple have discussed Harry writing another book. He can’t write another one free“, Quinn explains. “But he will realize that writing a more soothing book might even help thaw the relationship with his brother. “
Harry’s explosive memoir Spare became the UK’s fastest-selling non-fiction book last year and was nominated for two British awards.
This memoir provides a behind-the-scenes look at the royal family. The duke also talks about his strained relationship with his father, King Charles, and brother, William, in the book, further deepening the rift.
Now, the couple appear to be trying to make amends, releasing a statement offering their best wishes to Kate after she revealed her health condition in a video message last week.
Prince Harry will also reportedly return to the UK in May and will try to connect with his estranged brother during the trip, the royal author previously told the outlet.
