Kate Middleton, Prince William considering major public appearances for children’s sake

Kate Middleton and Prince William are said to be facing a major dilemma regarding their potential appearance at Trooping the Color in June.

It was recently revealed that King Charles was looking forward to resuming public-facing duties following an encouraging health update in the wake of his cancer diagnosis.

Trooping the Color marks the official birthday of the British monarch, and is arguably the largest annual royal event, held each year in June.

Although the king’s attendance is still confirmed, the Princess of Wales may miss the event as she continues her recovery from an undisclosed form of cancer.

It’s unclear whether Prince William will bring his younger children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to the high-profile event without their mother.

Ingrid Seward, author My mother and Itold newsweek: “The kids will probably love it and it’s probably a real gift for them. You can imagine how much they’ll love it.

“It might be ‘You should stay behind with mum,’ actually that might not be the case. William will be on horseback so there will be no carriage. I don’t think the kids will be seen without him.”
