Prime Minister pledges to fulfill his promise

'Pran Jaaye Par Vachhan Na Jaye': Prime Minister assures fulfillment of promises

The Prime Minister further said that he has big plans once his government is re-elected.

New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the opposition of failing to fulfill its promises to the people. Speaking to ANI, the Prime Minister said politicians need to be held accountable for the statements they make to the people.

“I feel political leadership is becoming questionable. In this situation, we should remember that we have the tradition of ‘Pran Jaye par Vacchan na Jaye’. (You can lose your life but not your promise) . I think what politicians should say is my responsibility. I also promised it, and I took the responsibility. Take Article 370 as an example. When it was my turn, I made a promise, and I showed courage. 370 people were wiped out. Today, the fate of Jammu and Kashmir has changed,” the Prime Minister said.

“Triple talaq. A lot of things happen in the political leadership and then there is fear. People say, why should we trust them? They say one thing and another. But people start believing. Trust is a very powerful force . In a country like India, I think that trust is my responsibility and that’s why I say that time and time again,” the Prime Minister added.

The Prime Minister said that by saying “Modi assures”, he is assuring the people that he will fulfill all his promises.

“As far as safeguards are concerned, in our country today, I feel like politicians are not keeping their promises. In a way, it seems… you can say whatever you want. You don’t have any guarantees.” Nowadays, you must have read …old videos of a politician walking around and one of his statements being so contradictory to another, people watched it together and said…this guy used to fool us all the time. Now I heard a speech from a politician who said “I will end poverty immediately”. Now those who have ruled for five to six years, when they say today that I will eradicate poverty immediately, people will ask questions. ,” the Prime Minister said.

The prime minister was referring to Rahul Gandhi’s statement at a rally in Rajasthan on March 11, where the Congress leader claimed that he would transfer Rs 1 lakh to the account of a poor woman in her family. Eliminate poverty instantly.

The Prime Minister further said that he has big plans once his government is re-elected in the Lok Sabha elections
“When I say I have very big plans in mind, and I have very big plans, most governments are used to saying, we’ve done everything. I don’t believe I’ve done everything. I’ve done everything I could. We are moving in the right direction,” the Prime Minister said.

“Still, I still have a lot to do. Because I see how much my country needs. The dream of every family, how can this dream be realized? That’s what’s in my heart. That’s why I say you like it, but I want to do more,” he said.

The prime minister also urged voters to brave the sweltering heat and come out to vote. He called on first-time voters to consider the country’s future over the next 25 years before casting their vote.
