President Murmu went to Tura in an Indian Air Force helicopter to participate in several programs in Meghalaya.
President Draupadi Murmu arrived here on Monday on a three-day visit to the North-Eastern region, where she will participate in several programs. Murmu landed at Guwahati’s famous Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in a special Indian Air Force flight and was warmly welcomed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and several officials.

The President is on a three-day visit to the region and will grace the golden jubilee celebrations of the Karbi Youth Festival,” Sarma said in a post on Twitter. In the evening, the President will attend a civil felicitation ceremony organized in her honor by the Government of Meghalaya at Raj Bhawan, Shillong.
Murmu will attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Karbi Youth Festival at Taralangso in Diphu, Assam on Wednesday.
