An investigation has been launched into the “suspicious” death of a man in Dundee.
Emergency crews were called to reports that a 43-year-old man had been found seriously injured at a property in the city’s Charleston Road at around 11.05pm on Saturday.
The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital where he died on Sunday.
police Scotland It said his death was being treated as “suspicious” and an investigation was ongoing to determine the circumstances.
Detective Inspector Mark Lamont, of Dundee CID, said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
“We have a dedicated team of officers conducting this investigation and extensive inquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances of his death.”
Officers will remain in the area as inquiries continue and anyone with concerns is urged to speak to police.

DI Lamont added: “I am appealing to the community to contact us with any information they have. “I urge anyone who sees or hears anything suspicious, no matter how trivial it may seem, to contact us.
“I would also be happy to speak to anyone who has CCTV, dash cam or any other footage that they believe could assist the investigation.”
