The PlayStation 5 Slim (or PS 5 Slim) launched in India on Friday and customers can now purchase the console online or through retail stores. To boost sales of the device, the company has partnered with hyperlocal delivery platform Blinkit to deliver a stripped-down version of its flagship console to customers in select cities within minutes. The hyperlocal delivery platform also allows for the purchase of PS5 DualSense controllers.

Gadgets 360 confirms that both the PlayStation 5 Slim and the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition are available on Blinkit in Delhi NCR and Mumbai – the standard version is in stock in Mumbai, while the digital version is available in the national capital with a 14-minute delivery window.
The stripped-down version of the 2021 PlayStation 5 model doesn’t offer improved processor and graphics performance, but the new model does get more storage – 1TB of storage, compared to 1TB on Sony’s older 825GB drive. According to Sony, the PS5 Sim takes up 30% less space and is 24% lighter than the original model.
