Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday penned down his tribute to Swami Smaranaananda Ji Maharaj, Swami Atmastananda Ji Maharaj Raj’s view and how their lives embody the true essence of service and spirituality embodied in Ramakrishna Mathematics and Ramakrishna Mission.

In his heartfelt message, Prime Minister Modi wrote that Smranananda’s death is a personal loss. The Prime Minister also recalled meeting Swami Smarananda during his visit to Kolkata earlier this month.

“In the grand festival of Lok Sabha elections, the news of the death of Srimat Swami Smarananananda Ji Maharaj has brought my thoughts to a temporary standstill. Srimat Swami M. Prime Minister Modi also mentioned his close association with Ramakrishna Mission and Belur Math.

He further said that their divine thoughts and knowledge satisfy my soul.

“It is known that I have a close association with the Ramakrishna Mission and Belur Mathematics. As a spiritual seeker, I have met different saints and mahatmas and traveled to many place. Even in Ramakrishna Math, I got to know those saints who dedicated their lives to spirituality, among them Swami Atmasthananda Ji and Swami Sri Figures like Swami Smaranananda Ji stand out most. Their divine thoughts and knowledge satisfy my soul. During the most important period of my life, these saints taught me the meaning of Jan Seva hi Prabhu Seva True principles,” he added

He further said that the life of Swami Atmasthananda Ji and Swami Smaranananda Ji was indelible with the motto of Ramakrishna Mission “Atmano Mokshaartham Jagaddhitaaya Cha” example.

“We are all inspired by the work of the Ramakrishna Mission to promote education and rural development. The Ramakrishna Mission is committed to spiritual enlightenment, educational empowerment and humanitarian service in India. Prime Minister Modi further said, “Among his many inspiring qualities, the one that impressed me most was Swami Atmasthananda Ji’s love and respect for every culture and every tradition. The reason for this is that he traveled a lot and spent a long time in different parts of India. He learned to speak Gujarati while living in Gujarat. He even used to talk to me in this language and I loved listening to him Gujarati!”

The Prime Minister said these principles are timeless and will be a source of strength as we embark on the development of Viksit Bharat during Amrit Kaal.

“At different stages of India’s development, our motherland has been blessed by many saints and seers like Swami Atmasthananda Ji, Swami Smarananananda Ji, They ignite a spark for social change. They inspire us to work as a collective spirit to solve all problems. Prime Minister Modi said: “Our society faces challenges. These principles are timeless and will be our source of strength as we embark on developing Viksit Bharat during Eid. “

“Once again, on behalf of the entire nation, I salute these holy souls. I am confident that all those associated with Ramakrishna Mission will move further on the path they have shown. Om Shanti,” he added.

According to a report by Ramakrishna Mas and Ramakrishna Mission on March 27, Swami Sma, the head of Ramakrishna Mas and Ramakrishna Mission Swami Smaranananda Maharaj passed away at the age of 95 due to age-related illnesses.
