OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite moniker spotted on IMDA; listed on geekbench

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is likely to be unveiled soon – while the handset has not been announced by the Chinese smartphone maker yet, its alleged details have surfaced online. Recently, a new OnePlus handset spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website was reportedly said to be the Nord CE 4 Lite. Now a listing on a separate certification site appears to confirm the phone’s moniker. It is expected to replace the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite which was launched in April 2023.

According to MySmartPrice, a listing on Singapore’s IMDA regulator website reveals a OnePlus model with model number CPH2621 named OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. report, The listing has not revealed any other details about the handset. However, a OnePlus phone with the same model number was recently revealed on an IMDA listing spotted On geekbench.

The Geekbench listing for the handset suggests that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and 12GB of RAM. The validity of these details seems questionable, considering that the model number has now been confirmed to be associated with the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite model. The company recently launched the OnePlus Nord CE 4 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and it is unlikely that the Lite model will launch with a more powerful processor.

Earlier a tipster had claimed that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will be priced in India below Rs. 20,000 and it is likely to be a rebranded version of the yet-to-be-released Oppo A3. The tipster said that the upcoming Nord model may be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, run on Android 14, and feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit, and a 16-megapixel depth sensor.
