Meghan Markle, who has finally returned to her home in Nigeria, left this sweet comment in a visitor’s book at the Defense Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in Nigeria to crown champions the Invictus Games, which Harry helped found to help rehabilitate injured and sick soldiers and veterans.
On the first day of her and Prince Harry’s first visit to Nigeria, the Duchess of Sussex wrote a powerful line that went viral.
Meghan wrote: “Grateful for the support of the Invictus community. And for welcoming me home.”
Prince Harry praised Meghan’s calligraphy, saying: “Her handwriting is beautiful.”
Harry, the younger son of British King Charles, also shared his message in the book, writing: “Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful country, together we will heal our soldiers.”
Harry and Meghan, parents of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were formally welcomed to Nigeria at the headquarters by Chief of Defense Staff Christopher Moses, who invited the Sussexes to visit Nigeria.
Meking looked beautiful in a different outfit from her first outing, wearing a white pantsuit from Altuzarra, while Harry looked dapper in a teal green suit – which is the color of the Nigerian flag.
