Paris Hilton reflects on Coachella experience, looks forward to this year

Paris Hilton shared her memories of the event ahead of Coachella.

The Coachella Valley Music Festival has been held in Indio, California since 1999, the 43-year-old star tells people magazine She was a long-time attendee even before the festival became popular.

“I went a few years ago and almost no one knew about it.”

“I used to live in the desert. I was in ninth grade in high school there,” she added, “so I’ve been there a long time.”

A lot has changed for the actress and mother of two since then, but she still makes time to attend her favorite festivals. She is heading to the desert this year with Absolut Vodka and claims it will be her first party since giving birth to her second child, London, in November.

“My schedule is so crazy, I don’t even go out anymore,” said Hilton, who is also the mom of son No. 1 in Phoenix. “I haven’t been to any parties in a long time other than birthday parties at home, so that will definitely be fun. I’ll be in Absolut Land with my Sliving Cosmo [cocktail], which we created together, so I’m excited about it. ”

The singer is also getting ready for the 1999 party. “I can’t wait to see No Doubt,” she said of the popular ’90s band reuniting on stage. “I love Gwen Stefani. She’s an icon and I’ve been obsessed with her music since I was a teenager. I sent her a private message yesterday to let her know I was excited to see her perform.”
