On his birthday, Darshan prepared delicious food for 30,000 fans

Darshan Thoogudeep, known as Challenge star by fans, will celebrate his 47th birthday on Friday. Fans from all over Bengaluru lined up in front of Darshan’s residence, eager to meet him. A sumptuous meal including vegetable pulao, chilli bajji, Mysore pak and sambar rice was arranged for around 30,000 fans.

Apart from these delicacies, two tons of rice, 500 liters of curd and 1,000 liters of milk were also provided to Darshan’s fans. The lavish ceremony reportedly went on till 02:00 pm and Darshan’s followers also tweeted pictures of themselves with the Saarathi actor.

A media portal tweeted a video of Darshan greeting fans and shaking hands. As seen in the video, some fans kept clicking pictures with the actor, causing a ruckus. Darshan and his bodyguards faced difficulties in dealing with their followers.

Darshan is currently at the peak of his career and is being praised by his fans for his acting skills. He became one of the prominent figures in the Kannada entertainment industry with movies such as “Bul Bul”, “Yajamana”, “Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna”, etc. However, Darshan had to face a lot of difficulties in the initial stages of his career. At the beginning of his career, he also had to work as a lighting engineer and cinematographer. He had to work hard to land a guest role in a Kannada daily soap opera.

He rose to fame in 2002 with the film “Majestic” directed by PN Sathya. He had appeared in many other films before “Majestic,” but none of them achieved as much success as “Majestic.” After Majestic, Darshan’s career once again hit a brief trough. However, he achieved success again with the film Kariya directed by Prem. Kariya is known as one of the best films on underworld in Kannada film industry.

Later, Darshan continued to entertain the audience with films like Kalasipaliya and Anantaru. His latest successful film at the box office is Kaatera.
