Now, the actor is reportedly all set to work with Kaatera director Tharun Sudhir. According to reports, the film is tentatively titled #D59.

Darshan announced his upcoming project and is teaming up with Tharun Sudhir again after Kaatera. The announcement of the 59th film in “Challenge Star”‘s career has aroused heated discussions among the audience. The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Shylaja Nag under the banner Media House Studio. The producer also shared the first look poster of the film on her Instagram. In the poster, the actor is holding an ax and standing on the handle of a gun. The poster is captioned: “We are extremely excited to announce #D59, the saga of #SindhooraLakshmana, presented by the sensational combination of #ChallengingstarDarshan, #TharunSudhir, #VHarikrishna and #Media House Studio”.

#D59 is reportedly the actor’s personal favorite genre. The film will be a historical drama and he will play freedom fighter Sindhoora Lakshmana. This was a project that Tharun had earlier wanted to work on with Darshan, but it was brought forward. The director-actor duo first picked up Kaatera, which turned out to be a box-office success.

In addition, Darshan’s next film “Devil” has also been revealed to fans for the first time. The video gives us a glimpse of Darshan, a supposedly evil character who calls himself the devil.

In the video, Darshan can be seen uttering diabolical dialogues and shooting people’s heads off. But as the film’s title suggests, Diablo: Heroes suggests that the Challenge star is playing an antihero of sorts rather than an outright villain. The film is written and directed by Prakash Veer.
