Nora Fatehi says being a dancer helped her learn stunts in upcoming film Crakk and she hopes to be like co-star Vidyut Jamwal in future projects Jammwal and Arjun Rampal for “next level action”.

Fatehi, who has appeared in films such as “Street Dancer 3D” and “Bhuj: The Pride of India,” said that just like dance, the movements also need to be choreographed.

“As a dancer, you’re also like an athlete. The level of physics our bodies reach is crazy. You do the same thing in the world of dance and movement. When an action director develops a scene, you have to follow certain Choreography,” the 32-year-old told PTI in an interview.

“I think (being a dancer) helped me. Arjun and Vidyut did next level moves and I had a move sequence, but it wasn’t like what they did, it was out of this world. I just Hopefully one day the writers will make movies with female characters who can do such stunts. I want that because I’m ready to do that,” the actress added.

She also described Crakk, directed by Aditya Datt, as a film made by “self-made actors and outsiders”. Jamwal is also backing the film through his Action Hero Films banner.

“We all know that the debate has been going on for a few years now about outsiders, why they don’t work in certain projects and how filmmakers don’t let them work on particularly big-budget projects. Vidyut and Aditya sir in a Big-budget films are betting on all the self-made actors and outsiders,” Fathi added.

Clark follows the journey of Siddhu, played by Jamwal, from the slums of Mumbai to the underground world of action sports.

Rampal, who plays the villain in the film, shared his definition of a villain. The 51-year-old actor has previously played gray roles in films like “Om Shanti Om”, “Ra.One” and “Dhaakad”.

“I think a person who cannot suppress his desires (is a villain). Those desires can be harmful to another person… The person is somewhat of a trait that leads to evil due to absolute selfishness. If you have harmless desires and they are incompatible with the villain’s The desires are just as strong, but they don’t hurt anyone,” he added.

Jackson, 32, said she was happy to be starring in a film again after five years. The actor, known for “Ekk Deewana Tha” and “2.0”, said she has been trying to strike a balance between work and motherhood. “When I got the call about Crakk, I thought it wasn’t what I wanted, but Aditya and I sat on Zoom and heard the storyline and it was awesome. Trying to juggle the schedule was a challenge. Mom guilt is always there, all moms have it. But I also want him to know that I’m a working mom,” said Jackson, mother of four-year-old Andreas.

The actor said her son had been working with her on the sets and was familiar with India. “He had great experiences with new cultures, traveling, seeing his mom on the big screen. It instilled a work ethic that was so important to me as a mother. And, the movie was so relevant to me growing up, It also helps his life. Everything I do now is for him,” she added.
