Narayana Murthy said about cleaning his toilets, ‘No one is less than us’

Murthy opened up about cleaning his toilets on January 27 and revealed how he convinced his children to do the same when they asked him why he decided to clean his toilets.

“I will gently and lovingly explain to my children that this is the best way to respect other people. In our society, people always feel that people who clean their own toilets are looked down upon. So , I will tell them that look, no one is less than us,” ndtv Murthy is quoted as saying.

He said, “My children are very curious. They observe and they have a lot of questions. I would tell them that look, no one is less than us. It turns out that God has put us in a very advantageous position. “

According to him, people in rich families hardly respect those who clean toilets and this makes them arrogant.

Speaking on his conversations with children about cleaning their own toilets, the 78-year-old billionaire said, “We cannot take it as our right, we cannot take it out of a sense of ego, so, as far as “When possible, we should try and do things that make us feel like we’re trying to be as fair to society as possible.”

On future plans:

Elaborating on his plans, Murthy said that he now plans to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Furthermore, he enjoys music and wants to read on various subjects from physics to economics.

When Murthy was asked if he wanted to enter politics, he refused. “I guess I’m too old for any of that. I’m 78 now.”
