Prince Harry has ‘no plans’ to visit ill Kate Middleton on UK trip

Prince Harry is unlikely to meet his ailing sister-in-law Kate Middleton as he prepares to return to the UK next month.

A spokesperson for the Invictus Games confirmed the Duke of Sussex’s attendance at a thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on 8 May to mark 10 years of the sporting event.

talking to daily MailThe prince could take some time out to inquire about his cancer-stricken father King Charles, but a meeting with the Princess of Wales is “impossible”, royal author Tom Bower claimed.

“I’m sure he won’t see Kate,” he confirmed.

“But in order to enhance his brand and re-establish his royalty and his titles, he will make a huge effort to meet his father, the King,” the author explained. “I would be surprised if Meghan came.”

Richard Fitzwilliams expressed similar sentiments, saying: “Katherine is undergoing preventive chemotherapy treatments and given how deep the crack is, it seems impossible to me.”

“The only hope for a reconciliation is that it will happen in private and we won’t know,” he said.

It was previously revealed that Harry and Meghan had reached out to the future Queen of England after she revealed she had an undiagnosed form of cancer last month.

He also issued a public statement in support of Kate, wishing her “health and healing” during the difficult time.
