King Charles relies on the royal family’s ‘secret weapon’ to overcome crisis

Duchess Sophie proved her worth in the royal family by stepping in in the wake of King Charles and Kate Middleton’s current health crisis.

“She really puts in the work, she connects very well with the people at these functions, and she does a lot of that work behind the scenes,” he said. “Now, we’re also seeing Prince Edward going his own way.”

A second source expressed similar sentiments about the king’s youngest brother, noting that he feels “really privileged” to step in for the king and Prince William.
