Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are advised to show sympathy and support to King Charles and Kate Middleton during their illness and to stop exploiting their royal connections.

The Duchess of Sussex has also been urged to follow in Kate Middleton’s footsteps and win hearts.

A PR expert has also warned the parents of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet against “showing off” tactics, saying the public “generally don’t like the hypocrisy of a couple showing off their privileged life”.

“They need to be closer to the British public and Meghan could consider cutting back on designer brands and opting for frugal options like Kate,” public relations guru Lynn Kalat told the Daily Mirror.

“If Meghan and Harry are going to increase their profile, there needs to be some consistency and authenticity to their brand as a couple,” Karat said.

The expert also urged Harry and Meghan to “use the media as a platform to promote their work” rather than “conduct explosive interviews about her time in the royal family that could spark gossip.”
