Machine Gun Kelly talks about ‘most painful experience of life’

Machine Gun Kelly shared a video on Instagram on Monday, giving his followers an up-close look at the painstaking process of getting his latest black tattoo on his upper body.

The 33-year-old rapper, known as Emo Girl, originally revealed the tattoo in February.

However, Kelly clarified that the tattoo was only for “spiritual purposes.”

The video begins with footage of the music artist and tattoo artist Roxx before he begins getting tattooed, a process that takes place seven times over two weeks.

“Today is the day I start changing my body,” Kelly told the camera.

The video then cuts to the star getting a tattoo on his upper chest, before musing: “We’ll see what the outcome is.”

He posted a candid video on Instagram documenting the progress of his blackout tattoo journey, showcasing the grueling process and the toll it takes on the body.

After the initial tattoo, MGK showed his right arm and shoulder mostly covered in black ink, before filming footage of the subsequent tattoo process, including close-ups of his collarbone and nipples being tattooed.

The rapper has shared updates throughout the process, revealing the pain he’s been enduring, noting, “This is the most painful thing I’ve ever been through in my life.”

He also showed off a scar on his left arm, which the tattoo artist admitted made him uncomfortable.

MGK documented swelling in his elbow and utilized a hyperbolic oxygen chamber to speed healing.
