Former Wales rugby international Louis Rees-Zammit has signed with NFL champions Kansas City Chiefs.

In a video posted by the club on its X page, he said: “Hello Chiefs Kingdom, I’m Louis Rees-Zammit.

“Just signed, can’t wait to go to Arrowhead and meet you.”

Rees-Zammit played 31 times for the national team and scored 70 points.

Reese-Zammit posted times of 4.43 seconds for the 40-yard dash, 9-foot-7 broad jump and 29-inch vertical jump.

He will try to earn a spot on Kansas City’s final 53-man roster for the season that begins in September 2024.

If Rees-Zammit doesn’t pan out, he’ll likely spend his first season on Kansas City’s practice squad, according to the BBC.
