King Charles’ latest move appears to send a hidden message to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle

King Charles beat cancer by putting on a brave face, with his latest move teaching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a new lesson ahead of their visit to the UK.

The 75-year-old king gave Prince Edward and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh more powers to host a historic event at Buckingham Palace, seemingly sending a message to Harry and Meghan that monarchs always respect and Support the working royals. Remain steadfast and loyal to the company under all circumstances.

Prince Edward and Sophie stood up for the King at a landmark royal engagement ceremony on Monday.

They were joined by the British Chief of General Staff, the French Chief of Army Staff and the French Ambassador to the UK at a ceremony to mark the 120th anniversary of the Entente of Amity and celebrate Anglo-French relations.

The royal couple reviewed British and French troops in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace in a parade that highlighted the ties between the two countries. King Charles is skipping public-facing duties as he continues treatment for a form of cancer.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may not regret their decision to step down as senior royals, but they have certainly learned a lesson from the king’s latest move.

The King and Queen Camilla did not attend the historic event, which marked the first time that troops from non-Commonwealth countries took part in the Changing of the Guard ceremony at the palace.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expected to travel to the UK in May to attend the 10th anniversary event of the Duke’s Invincible Games, amid health concerns for Kate Middleton and King Charles.
