King Charles takes major step to announce public support for Kate Middleton

King Charles will publicly express his support for his “beloved daughter-in-law” Kate Middleton in an upcoming speech.

according to Mirrora special Easter message of wishes from the 75-year-old monarch will be broadcast at Worcester Cathedral on Maundy Day.

His wife, Queen Camilla, will lead the company at the funeral and distribute royal Maundy Day gifts on behalf of the king.

A royal source told the outlet: “The King has been in constant contact with the Princess of Wales from the moment she was admitted to hospital in January, through to her current cancer treatment.

“He is fully determined to show solidarity for his family and reassure the public and wider world that the monarchy is stable despite the turbulent times it is currently going through. The King is very keen that he can enable Easter church services but will be held at The final decision is made that day.”

The Princess of Wales acknowledged her cancer diagnosis in a video message played on television on Friday British Broadcasting Corporation.

The King and Queen hope to attend Easter church services in Windsor later this month. However, a royal source told The Telegraph that his attendance would depend on his health that day.

Meanwhile, Kate and Prince William will not be attending the upcoming Sunday service; in fact, they have flown to Anmer Hall in Norfolk for the Easter holidays with their children.
