Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice are awaiting a “green signal” from King Charles to promote them to working royals amid the royal family’s health crisis.
Towards daily mailRoyal expert Phil Dampier claims royal charities and organizations are scrambling without oversight from members of the royal family.
King Charles and Kate Middleton are stepping back from public service indefinitely after respective treatments for cancer.
Prince William has also cut back on his activities due to his time split between caring for his three children and royal duties.
Dampier explained that the daughters of disgraced Prince Andrew would be a good substitute to take on the duties in the absence of core royals.
“I know Bea and Eugenie are willing to do more and are happy to help. They just need approval,” he said.
“Yes, they are Andrew’s daughters, but Andrew’s misdemeanor is not their fault and they are high in the line of succession.
“Many organizations and charities are in desperate need of a royal patron and would welcome them. They already have more than 30, why not a few more?” the royal expert continued.
“I don’t see any reason why Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie can’t come forward and get involved with some of these charities and organizations.
“They are both delightful, intelligent women who are now wives and mothers with a wealth of life experience.
“Beatrice and Eugenie are the grandsons of the late Queen and will therefore command the public’s respect,” Phil added.
