During the episode, Sandoval told his friend Tom Schwartz that he had “made changes” in himself in the hope that his relationship with Rachel would work.
He said he hopes “one day she will see the work of my hands and appreciate it.”
An emotional Sandoval added, “I don’t understand how she can say that I’m just a person who loves her and cares about her like I would do anything for her.”
“I wasn’t quite ready to give up hope until I heard this from her herself, and now I am,” he shared in a confessional. “Going through all this without even giving it a try, what’s the point of it all?”
Schwartz responded: “It’s over, man. It’s over.”
On the show, Lisa Vanderpump expressed her concerns, saying she didn’t want Sandoval to “start spiraling right after we just got him to a place where he’s starting to level off.”
