King Charles III may risk his life to strengthen his rule as he wants to visit Samoa even after receiving warnings from his medical team.

The 75-year-old monarch is determined to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa on October 21, taking huge risks in his battle with cancer.

The king reportedly ignored medical advice to carry out his duties, even though his doctors warned him against extensive travel.

A source told the Express that the Prince of Wales has cut back on his royal duties as the Princess of Wales herself battles cancer, and that other serving royals are not considered senior enough to replace the king at Commonwealth heads of government meetings. U.K.

A source said: “Due to Kate’s health, William is currently unable to attend CHOGM, although Anne and other working royals are doing a great job filling the domestic void.”

“They were deemed not to be senior enough to represent the sovereign leadership of the Commonwealth.”

The visit was seen as crucial to maintaining Australia’s loyalty to the Commonwealth, especially as calls for an Australian republic grew.

“King Charles’ attendance at Commonwealth meetings and Australia is seen as helping to maintain Commonwealth unity,” the source said.

“Despite medical advice against long-distance travel, particularly as jet lag can increase fatigue, the King remains firm in his decision to undertake the trip.”

Charles, 75, was confirmed to take part in the 27th CHOGM, which will be held from October 21 to 25, before he was diagnosed with cancer. The meeting will be the first under his leadership.
