Royal Challengers Bengaluru ended their six-match losing streak in IPL 2024 with a comfortable 35-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday. Half-centuries from Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli took RCB to a competitive total of 206/7, before Karn Sharma, Cameron Green and Swapnil Singh took two wickets each to restrict SRH to 171/8. SRH’s top-order, consisting of explosive batsmen like Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen, has been extremely impressive this season, but the hosts suffered a massive collapse against RCB and ultimately suffered a defeat.
