In the report, the capital state of Karnataka ranks sixth among the world’s most congested cities. last year. Last time, it was ranked second in the rankings.

Speaking at the event on Sunday, Shivakumar said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had announced several projects to develop Bengaluru city in the state budget.

“The BBMP budget will be presented soon and it will complement the projects announced in the state budget. We are preparing a feasibility report for tunnel roads near Yeshwanthpura, Sumanahalli, Goraguntepalya and other places,” Shivakumar said.

“So far, we have completed the massive grievance redressal program in 12 assembly constituencies of Bengaluru city and received around 20,000 requests. The chief minister has also directed Janaspandana twice. A separate team has been set up to look into the requests received requests. These complaints will be dealt with in stages,” he added.

Our safeguard scheme covered 95 % of people. The remaining 5% could not be reached due to technical glitches. We also plan to provide subsidies to install solar panels on your terrace. We have delivered as promised. We are not in the business of emotional politics; It’s the politics of building livelihoods. Our government programs are designed to ease the burden of rising prices.”

He said that as part of the ‘Namma Swattu’ programme, the Karnataka government has initiated a survey of all properties in Bengaluru and sent all property documents to people’s doorsteps.
