Summer interns with his flagship Tesla Inc have been victims of tech billionaire Elon Musk’s recent cost-cutting, canceling offers just weeks before internships were to begin.

As many aspiring employees took to LinkedIn to lament not having enough time to find replacement gigs for the summer, Pravig offered to help.

“At Pravig Dynamics we understand the importance of feeling valued and supported in your career endeavors. That’s why we want to extend a genuine invitation to those affected by this unfortunate situation,” Pravig Partner Shivangi Bagri wrote on her LinkedIn page.

Bagri, who oversees HR at the startup that manufactures high-precision batteries for electric SUVs as well as EVs, said the Tesla appointment letter is enough testimony to the skills, experience and potential that “doesn’t just disappear with a canceled offer”.

Musk has fired two senior Tesla executives in recent days, amid reports of plans to lay off hundreds of more employees, primarily due to declining sales and the pace of job cuts. Bagri said in a post addressed to ‘Tesla aspirants’ that unemployment has been in the news a lot lately.

“From Big Tech firing people on maternity leave to companies finding every excuse to not fulfill contracts with employees. It’s this depressing news about our industry (about Tesla canceling offers to interns) that really left me wanting to do something about it, ” she said.

Some individuals, who were eagerly anticipating starting their journey with Tesla, had their offer letters unexpectedly revoked weeks before their intended employment, she said.

“I can only imagine the frustration, frustration and uncertainty that this turn of events must cause for individuals and their families. Transitioning into a new role, especially with an exciting company like Tesla, is an endeavor that requires both emotional and logistical preparation. is. Stopping that excitement is definitely a tough pill to swallow,” she said.

Musk announced last month that Tesla had “made the difficult decision to reduce our headcount globally by more than 10 percent”. While several executives have since left the company, most of the company’s 500-person supercharger division and its newly formed marketing team have been laid off.
