As Lok Sabha and Odisha elections are due to be held in a few months from now, the Congress party’s student wing, National Students Union of India (NSUI), organized the Bharatiya Janata Party’s wedding ceremony in a sarcastic tone. According to the viral video, the wedding took place on Thursday at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar, with all the rituals performed and the pandit chanting the wedding mantras.

The Congress also printed invitation cards for the wedding, announcing the “wedding” of the BJP and BJD with the date and venue and inviting everyone to attend and bless the bride and groom.

The wedding was part of Congress’s new campaign ahead of the general and state elections in Odisha, claiming that the BJP and BJD are in a ‘secret alliance’ in the state and are not against each other anywhere.

Will BJP and BJD unite in the upcoming elections?

While the BJP and BJD are yet to declare their official stand on a possible alliance between the two parties ahead of the Lok Sabha and Odisha elections, the saffron camp has ruled out the possibility of an alliance with the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD in the state. ,
