Jio Platforms has created an innovative artificial intelligence platform called Jio Brain. The company developed the platform with the help of hundreds of engineers, who have been a core part of the R&D team for the past two years.

This article by Jio Senior Vice President Aayush Bhatnagar discusses the company’s latest efforts in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

He pointed out that Jio Brain integrates ML capabilities of telcos, enterprise networks and even any industry-specific IT environment without the need for major network/IT transformation and upgrades to support the technology.

Jio Brain comes with a rich set of 500+ REST APIs and data APIs that can be used to create ML-enabled services for these enterprises.

But that’s not all, Jio Brain is not purely enterprise focused but also has advanced artificial intelligence capabilities that can be used on images, videos, text, documents, voice. Apart from this, Jio Brain also offers in-built AI algorithms “as a service” to its customers.

He also explained that Jio Brain will help create new 5G services, seek enterprise transformation, help optimize networks, and lay the foundation for the development of 6G networks, in which machine learning will play an important role in the near future.

Jio Platforms is also willing to collaborate with AI/ML researchers with similar interests that can be used to create value and expand the Jio Brain innovation ecosystem.
