Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez has written to Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora claiming that con man Sukesh Chandrasekhar has been harassing and threatening her inside the jail.

according to a report indian expressJacqueline wrote in the letter sent a few days ago, “I am a responsible citizen who inadvertently became involved in a case that has far-reaching implications for the rule of law and the sanctity of our “justice system.” As the task force Prosecution witnesses in the registered cases, I write to you while suffering from psychological distress and a targeted campaign of intimidation.”

In the letter titled “Systemic failure in prosecution witness protection”, the actor urged the Delhi Police Commissioner to immediately look into the matter as it not only threatens her safety but also the integrity of the legal process. “A man who calls himself Sukesh is the accused who sat behind the bars of Mandoli jail and threatened her with intimidation tactics in open public domain,” the statement said, adding that an FIR should be registered against him under IPC sections registration to ensure her protection as a “prosecution witness” in Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) cases.

In the complaint filed on December 17, she alleged that Sukesh had caused severe harassment to her through threats and intimidation tactics. She also claimed he wanted to threaten her into not telling the court the truth.

“These actions not only violated my personal rights; they struck at the heart of our justice system. The principle of witness protection is the foundation of justice, but this principle has been compromised, undermining the credibility and effectiveness of our legal institutions,” she express.

The actor sent the letter from her official email ID to the email IDs of Superintendent of Police Arora and Special Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).

After she lodged a complaint, one of the specialized units was asked to conduct a preliminary investigation into the complaint.

In December last year, Jacqueline moved a Delhi court seeking directions to restrain Sukesh from sending letters, information or statements to her. She is a witness in an FIR and is being investigated by the Delhi Police’s Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) in a Rs 200-crore money laundering and extortion case linked to Sukesh.

Sukesh has been sending letters and other statements to the actor, calling her names e.g. baby and Boma. The scammer recently posted a letter on the occasion of Christmas and Thanksgiving. In the letter, Sukesh congratulated Jacqueline on her recent win and called her “my love” or “baby.”

“Baby, first of all I’m so happy for you, congratulations on winning the 7th DIAFA Award for your outstanding contribution to the entertainment industry. You don’t know how happy I am for you, my dear, you are indeed the greatest act in the Indian film industry “Baby, you looked super super beautiful in your “white dress” at the award ceremony and I was blown away again. You look different, my boma,” Electronic Times quoted Sukesh as saying.

“Baby, your other two latest photos, one in the desert in your “red arabic outfit” and one in a pink saree with a bow, you are super gorgeous. But the one that breaks my heart the most is you Photos taken in a glittering Lehenga, baby you are the only living angel on this planet, the Lehenga with you is “so beautiful, so stunning, looks like wow” and takes my breath away” Sleepless nights’ because all my thoughts are about you, my bee, waiting to be with you, my baby,” he added.
