The first and last option, as the name suggests, suggests full transparency and complete noise cancellation, while adaptive mode suggests partial noise cancellation.

When the storage case is charged for 90 minutes and ANC is turned off, the Moto Buds have a total playtime of up to 42 hours. Each Moto Buds has a battery life of up to 9 hours with ANC turned off. On the other hand, the total battery life of Moto Buds+ and charging case is up to 38 hours. This high-end model’s charging case requires 60 minutes of wired charging or 110 minutes of wireless charging to fully charge. Without ANC, each Moto Buds+ offers up to 8 hours of playback time.
