Infinix Hot 40i launched in India with 50MP camera, 256GB storage: Check price, specs

Infinix today expanded its affordable 4G dual-SIM smartphone lineup with the launch of Infinix Hot 40i. The company says it comes with a host of premium features, including a 32MP front-facing selfie camera and Magic Ring feature (reminiscent of the iPhone’s Dynamic Island), 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM.

Infinix Hot 40i – Specs and Features

The Infinix Hot 40i runs on the octa-core UniSoc T606 chipset and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD. The brand claims that users can expand the RAM up to 16GB using the virtual RAM feature.

In terms of display and build, the device comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it offers IP53 splash-proof protection to protect users from harsh weather conditions.

For photography, the device comes with a 50MP primary camera capable of capturing images in 50MP mode. It also includes a secondary depth sensor and a Quad-LED flash. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera capable of recording 1080P 30FPS videos.

The Infinix Hot 40i comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, which from our initial impressions can last up to two days on standby. An 18W charger is included in the box for charging.

A side-mounted fingerprint scanner facilitates biometric authentication, or you can use the face unlock feature, which puts the Magic Ring to work.

Infinix Hot 40i – Prices and Deals in India

The Infinix Hot 40i will be available on Flipkart with initial sales starting from February 21. The device is priced at Rs 9,999, but with the offer, buyers can get a discount of Rs 1,000, bringing the net effective price down to Rs 8,999.

The device is available in four color options: Palm Blue, Starfall Green, Horizon Gold, and Starlight Black.
