PM Modi: 2014 to 2024 is just an appetizer, preparation for the main course

Prime Minister Modi said that the work done in the past 10 years is only the appetizer and the main course is yet to come.

Jaipur:

Highlighting the work done by the government over the past decade, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that this was just the “appetizer” and the main course was yet to come.

Addressing a rally in Churu, his second election rally in Rajasthan in three days, Prime Minister Modi also accused the Congress of insulting the army and dividing people, saying it represented the opposition’s “identity” .

He further said the country was now a “new India”, striking inside enemy territory – an apparent reference to Pakistan’s counterattack after terror attacks in India. “Naya Bharat ghar mein ghus kar maarta hai.”

“Today, even the enemies know that this is Modi, this is the new India,” the prime minister added.

“No matter how much has happened, everything that has happened so far is a trailer. What Modi has done so far from 2014 to 2024 is just the appetizer. Get ready for the main course,” he said.

“There is still a lot to do…There are a lot of dreams. We have to take the country further.” Prime Minister Modi attacked the Congress Party, saying that the state of the country was very bad when the party was in power.

“The economy collapsed due to the Congress party’s grand scam and plunder. India’s reputation in the world is declining… Even after decades of independence, people are still struggling for basic necessities of life,” he added.

“People think that nothing can be changed and everyone is immersed in despair. In this despair and depression, in 2014, you gave the sons of the poor a chance to serve you. Disappointment and frustration cannot get close to Modi. I decided , things have to change,” the prime minister said, adding that India was his family.

He said that in a big crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic, when the whole world thinks that India will be destroyed, “we Indians have made this country the fifth largest economy in the world”.

“I can also say that the whole world is facing a disaster, what should I do? Maybe people will accept it, but Modi did not choose this path,” the prime minister added.

“Modi’s assurances” are being discussed across the country today, he said, adding that Rajasthan is an example of how and at what speed Modi’s assurances are being fulfilled.

“I promised cheaper gas cylinders for the poor and it has been delivered. There will be a probe into the Congress document leak industry and it has been completed,” PM Modi said.

He added that the East Rajasthan Canal project had been shelved by the previous Congress government in the state, but after the BJP came to power, the project was not only approved but work has also started. “Whatever the BJP says, it will come true.” Prime Minister Modi said: “Unlike other parties, the BJP not only released a ‘Ghoshna Patra’ but also brought a ‘Sankalp Patra’.” He added that India Most of the promises made by the BJP in the ‘Sankalp Patra’ of 2019 have been fulfilled.

He also attacked the Congress party’s stance on the Ayodhya Ram temple issue.

“Journalists just said that Congress has issued an advisory. They are so scared that they are telling all Congress units to shut up when discussing the Ram temple in Ayodhya,” the Prime Minister claimed.

They felt that by taking Ram’s name, they did not know when they would become Ram-Ram. (They feel that if they take Ram’s name, it will become ‘Ram-Ram’ for them),” PM Modi said.

Targeting the opposition Indian group, he said, “I say remove corruption, they say save corruption.” Prime Minister Modi claimed: “The people of ‘Ghamandiya Gathbandhan’ are holding rallies not for elections but to save corrupt elements.”

The Prime Minister said that ED alone has confiscated assets worth over Rs 100 crore in 10 years and asked people if such action should not be taken against corrupt elements.

“No matter how many lies the opposition spreads against me, I will not be afraid,” he said.

PM Modi said: “Congress and RIA have their own interests. They have nothing to do with the welfare and respect of the poor, Dalits and vulnerable sections. These people have no respect for Baba Ambedkar.”

“Congress did not allow Baba Sahib’s Bharat Ratna for decades. They imposed Emergency. Commission for Backward Classes was not given constitutional status. Modi fulfilled decades-old demands. Bharatiya Janata Party Gave the country a Dalit president and a tribal woman as president,” he said.

PM Modi said MPs asked for evidence when airstrikes and surgical strikes took place.

“What do colleagues in Congress have to say about this strike? They are demanding proof of bravery from our troops. Insulting the military and dividing the country is what Congress is about,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi also said that the Congress Party has always placed appeasement policy above national interests.

“The country has seen how far these people can go to please others. They said in court that Lord Shri Ram is a fiction,” he said in a separate attack in Parliament.

Prime Minister Modi added that the entire country celebrated when the dream of a majestic Rama temple in Ayodhya came true, but the Congress party blatantly insulted faith.

Talking about the “triple talaq” law, he said that the law has saved the lives of not only Muslim sisters but also all Muslim families.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Devendra Jhajharia, the BJP candidate from Churu Lok Sabha seat, also addressed the rally.
