Former Indian cricketer and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mentor Gautam Gambhir also wished everyone a “colorful” Holi.

Apart from Sachin and Gambhir, former India opener Virender Sehwag also extended his wishes on the occasion of Holi.

Holi is the festival of colours, a celebration of energy, joy and, of course, family ties and intimacy. It marks the blooming of spring after a long winter. On the day of Holi, people gather together and apply dry and wet colors on each other.

Many people, especially children, celebrate this holiday by playing with water-filled balloons and water guns. Like any other festival, people also enjoy special Holi delicacies like gujiya with each other.
