How actor Robert De Niro feels about becoming the father of his seventh child at 79

In a recent interview with a magazine, Robert De Niro, 80, gushed about his daughter Gia and talked about the joys of being a father.

“When I look at her, everything I’ve been consuming, everything I’ve been worried about just disappears. So, that’s amazing in itself. She has this really sweet way of looking at you and taking you in… So, I Don’t know where she’s going to go when she grows up, but she’s thinking, she’s observing everything, observing. It’s really interesting,” he told AARP

“So, you know, it’s great that I’m an 80-year-old father and I want to be with her for as long as possible… enjoying her,” he said, referring to his daughter Gia Virginia Gia Virginia Chen De Niro.

This was in a sit down interview Canada Eastern Time De Niro shared the news last year. Speaking about fatherhood, he said: “I mean, there’s no way around it for kids. I don’t like making laws or anything like that. But, [sometimes] You have no choice… I think any parent would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing for your kids and give them the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you can’t. ”

Robert De Niro has been married twice. His first wife was Diahne Abbott, with whom he had two children, daughter Drena and son Raphael. He also has twin sons named Julian and Aaron with his ex-girlfriend, model-actress Toukie Smith. In addition, Robert De Niro has two children with his ex-wife Grace Hightower, son Elliot and daughter Helen Grace.
