Several runaway military horses that were on the loose in Central London have been caught by police, local authorities said on Wednesday. The army was called in to help locate the animals, after which they were tamed. Four people were injured and were taken to the hospital after the horses ran amok, reported BBC.

The Westminster Police posted an update on Wednesday, informing that all of the horses were accounted for. “We’re pleased to confirm that all of the horses have been accounted for. We are continuing to liaise with the Army,” the tweet read.

The London Ambulance Service was called early morning to reports of a person being thrown from a horse near Buckingham Palace Road, a spokesperson for the service told news agency Reuters.

Social media users shared pictures and videos of the horses running loose in London streets. One of the animals, the white horse, could be seen bleeding while running in the streets along with its black counterpart.

A Telegraph report said that the horses were part of the Household Cavalry of the British Army. The horses reportedly cut loose during an exercise at the House Guards Parade, a ceremonial parade ground situated in the city centre.

The London Police said that officers had contained the two horses and preparations were on to transport them to a veterinary facility.
