Those captured have been identified as Franklin Alimek, Nkemoilem Israel Nkoyesua, DanielGodstime Okoni and Agnes Uwimbabazi.

Four Nigerian nationals, including a woman, have been taken into police custody for illegally staying in Greater Noida, officials said on Monday. During a verification drive on Sunday, the foreigners were found with expired visas, he said, adding that legal procedures have been initiated for their deportation.

Those captured have been identified as Franklin Alimek, Nkemoilem Israel Nkoyesua, DanielGodstime Okoni and Agnes Uwimbabazi. Police spokesperson said, “On the instructions of Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, a campaign is being run for verification of foreign nationals in Gautam Buddha Nagar district.”

During a joint operation of Rabupura police station and local intelligence unit on Sunday, four Nigerian nationals were found living illegally in Supertech Golf Country Society. His visa had expired. The police have taken all four into custody.

The officer said the foreigners were taken to Rabupura police station for questioning and further verification of their documents.
