– Turn on the toggle to use the feature
When we were looking for calling support, we noticed that X has enabled the feature by default, something that most of you won’t like. But thankfully, you have the option to manually disable the feature and you can do so by unchecking the options, People in your address book and people you follow.
Once you do this, X will ensure that you do not receive any unwanted calls on the platform. To provide more privacy on X for calls, the platform is also making sure that unless you message an account, they won’t be able to call you on X using the calling feature. X has kept most of its new features under a subscription plan but calling is available to everyone, including those who use X for free. With calling support now available on X, the platform can be seen as a proper rival to WhatsApp and even Google Meet to some extent.
