Elon Musk said on Sunday that Tesla car users will soon have an integrated experience with the X social media platform.
“Coming soon,” the tech billionaire said in response to a follower asking if we could get the X app integrated into Tesla vehicles.
This means EV owners will be able to use X via a software update in Tesla’s user interface (UI).
“This is really good news. Currently, I cannot read X notifications on my iPhone in FSD (Full Self-Driving) state without being disturbed. Native ecosystem integration will be better. What will the Tesla UI look like for X?” one Musk follower asked.
However, some people don’t like this idea.
“Waste of engineering time. No one can actively use the app while driving, and it’s uncomfortable to use while typing because your back has to be twisted really weirdly. The only use for it is for spaces and you can’t even pause ,” one X user posted.
Social media users also asked Musk to integrate Grok AI into Tesla vehicles.
“Don’t forget there are Groks in the Tesla fleet,” one Musk follower commented.
