Dua Lipa wants to use footage from upcoming Glastonbury show for film: report

Dua Lipa didn’t want her fans to miss out on this opportunity.

Last week, the 28-year-old singer was announced to headline the highly-anticipated Glastonbury Festival on June 28. She confirmed the news, saying: “I’ve been dreaming of this moment my whole life.”

Now daily mail reported that levitate hitmaker will also use backstage and behind-the-scenes footage from the show to create a documentary-style film for her fans.

“[Ms Lipa] Looking to bring the Glastonbury Festival experience to fans around the world as many will never get the chance to attend,” a source told the outlet.

“The plan is to use some of the clips to coincide with the release of her new single,” they continued, possibly referring to the lead single from her upcoming album, radical optimismscheduled for release on May 3.

The source continued, “We don’t think anyone has really used footage of Glastonbury in their own single releases before. But there will be a ton of additional footage… as well as room for a Dua Lipa Glastonbury movie to be released.”

The three-time Grammy winner made her debut at the festival in 2017, as well as during Mark Ronson’s performance in 2019. This time, however, she’ll be back as a headliner, alongside other stars like Coldplay and SZA. Shania Twain will occupy a legendary position.
