Travell G. Dep Coleman, a former mentor to Diddy, is out of prison after serving a 13-year sentence for murder.

The 49-year-old rapper shared his emotional reunion with friends and family via his Instagram page on Thursday, marking an important moment in his journey to freedom.

He was released four months after receiving clemency from New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

According to New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision records, G. Dep was released under the prison’s limited credit time stipend program.

The initiative provides eligible prisoners with six months off their sentences.

Despite being released, Coleman will remain subject to certain conditions, including regular contact with a parole officer, abiding by weapons and drug possession restrictions (unless medically cleared), and obtaining permission to travel out of state.

Coleman’s legal saga began in 2010, when he turned himself in for his role in an unsolved murder case dating back nearly two years.

In 2012, he was convicted of the murder of John Henkel.
