A 20-year-old man from Delhi allegedly murdered his friend on January 17 after the latter forced him to perform unnatural sex, police said, adding that the former also smashed his head with a stone .

North deputy police commissioner MK Meena said the police received a PCR call on January 19 about a dead body in the Mori Gate DDA park. The body had blood clots on its mouth and cuts above its eyes. After a forensic examination of the scene, the police transferred the body to the mortuary and registered a murder case.

It was revealed that a fight broke out between Rajesh and the victim Pramod Kumar Shukla at Senmun DDA Park on January 17. Subsequently, the police tried to track down Rajesh to verify the facts, and found that Rajesh had left the area on January 17 and went to an unknown location. Arnie.

The police team analyzed more than 50 CCTV cameras and combined with local intelligence, identified the victim as Pramod Kumar Shukla of Jharaun district in Uttar Pradesh. “Shukla works in a shop in Koyamandi and lives in a night shelter,” Meena said.

Further investigation revealed that Shukla was last seen with Rajesh, who was arrested from Patna on January 26, after which he was taken to Kashmir Gate police station for questioning.

During interrogation, Rajesh revealed that Shukla had pressured him to perform unnatural sexual acts.

Hence, he hatched a plan to eliminate Shukla and killed him on January 17, police said.

After killing the victim, the accused snatched the victim’s keypad phone and stole Rs 18,500. He earned Rs 400 by selling the victim’s mobile phone at Old Delhi railway station and took a train to Amritsar in Punjab to avoid arrest.

After arriving in Amritsar, Punjab, he used the stolen money to buy a mobile phone for Rs 10,000.According to reports, cash notes and equivalent amounts for the phone have been obtained from the phone dealer Arnie.
