Dalljiet Kaur talks about her Bollywood debut Dashmi

Dalljiet Kaur, a well-known figure in the Indian television industry, moved to Kenya after marrying Nikhil Patel. Away from the spotlight, the actress is enjoying quality time with her family. Daljit has now returned to India to fulfill her work commitments. The actress recently made her Bollywood debut. In her latest interview, the actress shared what it’s like to be back in India and her upcoming career plans.

Dalljiet Kaur said in an interview with ETimes: “It’s great to come to India. It’s funny, I realize this now because I don’t come here very often. The moment the plane was about to land in Mumbai, I had a sense of going back The feeling of home. Ghar aa gaye, this feeling is beautiful.” She also mentioned that due to her busy schedule, she was not able to meet her friends. When they came to know that she was in Mumbai, everyone wanted her to stay at their residence. Daljit was touched by all the love and said she has many houses in Mumbai.

The actress starred in the film Dashmi, which released last month. Talking about the experience of working on the big screen, the actress shared, “This was my first drama experience and seeing myself very beautiful on the big screen. I told myself Haan yaar theek lagti hoon main. This is one time A very good experience.” She also said that the real reason for her trip to India was her father’s knee surgery. She said: “He was in Bangalore and the timing was right and everything clicked. I decided to come here for the premiere and then go back to Bangalore to take care of my father. It was quite a hectic trip.”

Talking about her future career plans, Daljit said she is “proud” to be a television actress. She shared that the recognition and fame she has received so far is all because of television. She added, “Even if today I was offered a great TV show with a limited number of episodes, I would happily do it. I love watching TV.”

Dalljiet Kaur has worked in several TV shows like Kulvaddhu, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Kaala Teeka and many more. She has even participated in popular reality shows including Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye 4.
