Italian model ‘fired’ from Met Gala after ‘pushing’ Kylie Jenner upstage

Italian model Eugenio Casnighi claims he was kicked out of the Met Gala after he groped Kylie Jenner “upstage” at last year’s ceremony.

The 26-year-old handsome hunk released a video on TikTok, revealing that he will not be a part of this year’s fashion event as his beauty has diverted the audience’s attention from Hollywood A-listers.

Eugenio, who will serve as a model and greeter at the gala in 2021 and 2023, said, “I never talked about this because I have been under NDA, but the funny thing is that they fired me so I can now I can say whatever I want.”

The model began her video with a viral photo of herself standing next to the beauty mogul at last year’s event. He added, “I just got kicked out of the Met Gala.”

Eugenio said he was informed Friday that he would not serve as greeter this year.

“They told me today they cut me, they fired me because I went viral last year. You made it about you so we can’t work with you anymore,” the model said in her video.

It is pertinent to mention that the star-studded Met Gala 2024 is all set to take place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC. The ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 6.
